Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Hints
Steal the amulet from Dylan.
1 of 5: Find Meryl in the fishing village area that's a bit south of Silden's fighting arena and talk to him to get this mission.
2 of 5: Go to Geldern and look for Dylan near the south gate. If he's not there, look for him on the west side of town.
3 of 5: You could attack him and knock him unconscious, then loot his body to get two of his special amulets. You could then sell one and hand the other one over to Meryl for 4000 XP, 300 gold, a recommendation letter, and training services.
4 of 5: However, it's better to instead talk to Dylan and get the "Stop Meryl from sending more thieves" mission. That way gets you another recommendation letter and more XP.
5 of 5: After you finish that mission, return to Meryl to hand over Dylan's amulet and get the same reward as mentioned above. (And you can beat Meryl up to get Dylan's amulet back plus a valuable ranger bow.)
