How can I free Meche from the safe?
  • 1 of 12: There aren't any numbers on the dial of the safe.  This is going to make it hard to find the combination.
  • 2 of 12: You're just going to have to pick the lock.
  • 3 of 12: But that's going to be tough if you can't see what you're doing.
  • 4 of 12: There are three parts to the safe: the handle, the wheel, and the lock. You're going to want to take a closer look at the lock itself.
  • 5 of 12: Try opening it.
  • 6 of 12: Use your Bust-All on it, and you'll be able to see the tumblers inside the lock.
  • 7 of 12: You want to line up the tumblers so their flat edges are all lined up with the edge of the door jamb -- that is, all tumblers should be perpendicular to you, with their flat edges on the right, so that you can see through the tumblers to the jamb.
  • 8 of 12: Now, pull the handle to try to open the safe.
  • 9 of 12: It seems that the tumblers will want to rotate back, even though you have everything lined up.
  • 10 of 12: But if the tumblers couldn't rotate, you might be able to open the door.
  • 11 of 12: Put something in the gap to keep the tumblers from opening.
  • 12 of 12: Use your scythe in the aligned lock, and pull the handle again.  The door will open this time around.
