Half-Life Hints
I've been ambushed by alien slaves!
1 of 8: The upper level of offices and staff rooms is overrun with alien slaves.
2 of 8: There is also a guard nearby who will help you.
3 of 8: If you kept the security guard from earlier on (see "The security guard is about to be attacked!"), then you should have two security guards backing you up before youenter the ambush area.
4 of 8: Once these guys know that there are aliens about, they will hopefully take off and secure the area. You kind of have to lead them out in the open before they catch on.
5 of 8: Sometimes just a quick run around the corner will help jumpstart things.
6 of 8: The security guards will work their magic until they have either been killed or have cleared the area of alien slaves.
7 of 8: Their idea of clearing an area is not necessarily airtight. Be prepared in case a slave jumps out from behind a door or pops out from around the corner.
8 of 8: If you yourself are about to be attacked, attack the slave that is the furthest into his power-up. You will usually kill him before he unleashes a bolt on you.
