Zombie Combat Tips

  • 1 of 6: If you have your flashlight on, you should easily be able to spot a red gas can on the floor nearby.
  • 2 of 6: Pull it in with the gravity gun, then fire it at the first zombie you see to set it aflame.
  • 3 of 6: Keep the flashlight on it until it dies so that Alyx can shoot it, then do the same for the second zombie. (And the third, if he attacks early.)
  • 4 of 6: You should be easily able to finish off the zombies in that way rather than using up any precious shotgun ammo.
  • 5 of 6: TIP: After they're dead, go over the rubble mound to the left (as you face out of the doorway) to find a spare shotgun and an armor battery near a dead body.
  • 6 of 6: WARNING: There may be another zombie or two in this area besides the ones I describe. I'm not sure why this happens, but it has happened to me on several playthrus, so watch out for it.
