How can I put a stop to this endless stream of antlions?
1 of 7: First off, note that they only start appearing if you get really near their pit, or if you start opening the exit door (see link below).
2 of 7: They won't ever stop coming, so just standing back and stunning them with the gravity gun so Alyx can shoot them isn't going to work.
3 of 7: You need to plug their little spawn-hole so they can't get up through it.
4 of 7: What might be big and heavy enough to do that?
5 of 7: How about the nearby green car?
6 of 7: Get behind the car and push it with the gravity gun until it's blocking the antlion pit.
7 of 7: TIP: Do this before doing anything else that will start the antlions spawning. Only one or two will get out before the car blocks the hole, and you and Alyx can easily take care of them.
