Where can I go from here? It's all locked doors and force fields.
1 of 7: Since there's no way to open the door in the room at the top of the stairs, see about dropping the force field that's near the bottom of the stairs.
2 of 7: Examining the force field, you should notice a black cord leading off along the wall.
3 of 7: It leads up the stairs and into the room beyond.
4 of 7: Follow it along to find that it ends at a big plug-in.
5 of 7: So unplug it!
6 of 7: Either shoot the plug with the SMG (since there's an ammo rack for it right nearby) or yank it out with the gravity gun.
7 of 7: Then go back down the stairs to find that the force field is gone!
