2 of 3: Or you can blow one or both of them up with the nearby hopper.
3 of 3: Or use your own shotgun. That shotgun rack isn't an unlimited-ammo supply, but it does have a lot of ammo in it. (Also, lots of soldiers around here use shotguns.)
