Half-Life 2: Episode One Hints

Soldier and Zombie Combat Sets

  • 1 of 9: In the hallway just past the force field are a couple of zombies.
  • 2 of 9: Check the nearby rooms for another zombie and some supplies, then move down to the end of the hall where several soldiers are fighting zombies just past some doors that they'll kindly blow open for you.
  • 3 of 9: Move past the blown-open doors with your shotgun ready and help Alyx kill off the zombies that appear ahead.
  • 4 of 9: Explore that hall's side rooms and lounge for supplies, then go down to the end of it.
  • 5 of 9: There, you'll find a zombie who's trying to get through a closed door on the left.
  • 6 of 9: Check the "door zombie"'s room for a supply crate, then enter the operating room and open its cabinets if you need some health vials.
  • 7 of 9: Cautiously approach the operating room's other open doors, since another zombie-vs.-soldier battle is raging in the areas just beyond it.
  • 8 of 9: After that's over, scout the area past the operating room for supplies, but watch out for room W57!
  • 9 of 9: Head down the hall marked "Recovery" to find several zombies lounging around in a lounge area, plus several more trying to beat open some large double doors.
