Zombie and Headcrab Tips
1 of 10: Before you drop down, look down over the side to see a poison zombie and maybe a couple of fast headcrabs.
2 of 10: Shoot the poison zombie once to make sure Alyx sees it and starts shooting it, then retreat and deal with any poison headcrabs that get thrown up to your floor level.
3 of 10: When the zombie and all its headcrabs are dead, crouch-walk carefully around on the edge of the drop-off to see if you can get the fast headcrabs to run into Alyx's range.
4 of 10: Before you drop down to the floor below, be sure to read the following supply tip.
5 of 10: Quicksave right before you drop down, then run around and find holes in the windows to shoot zombies through.
6 of 10: Get as many as you can (especially the poison zombie and its headcrabs) before zombines start breaking in through the doors.
7 of 10: Alyx will say "Here they come!" right before they do. When she does, run for the shelf with the three unset hopper mines on it.
8 of 10: Throw the mines at the zombines as they charge you and Alyx, then switch to the shotgun.
9 of 10: Shoot any zombies between you and the nearest broken-open door, then run through it and into the hallway beyond to gain a lot more maneuvering space.
10 of 10: Just don't leave Alyx surrounded by zombines, or she may get killed.
