How can I get across to that vent?
1 of 15: There's no way you can jump the gap.
2 of 15: Look down to see what's on the floor under the gap.
3 of 15: You see that big forklift down there? Maybe it could help.
4 of 15: Drop carefully down to the floor, then go examine the forklift.
5 of 15: There's a red-knobbed lever near its left side that can be used to raise and lower the forklift's platform.
6 of 15: So raise it and then get back up to the top "shelf step" using the nearby lower shelves.
7 of 15: Unfortunately, you'll find that the forklift's platform is way too low for you to jump onto the vent's platform from it.
8 of 15: There's no way to get the forklift's platform up higher, so think about how you could stack some stuff on it to use as a makeshift staircase.
9 of 15: The easiest way to do that is to use some of the many wooden crates that are lying about.
10 of 15: Lower the forklift platform again, then put one wooden crate on the right end of it (the end nearest the vent platform).
11 of 15: Carefully put another wooden crate on top of that one, then put a third wooden crate on the platform next to the first one. That'll form a 2-1 crate staircase.
12 of 15: Raise the platform back up, then use the "shelf stairs" to get up to where you can drop onto it.
13 of 15: Carefully jump onto the one-crate stack, and from there onto the top of the two-crate stack.
14 of 15: Now you can easily hop over to the vent platform.
15 of 15: Actually, you can make do with just one wooden crate. Set it on the forklift platform near the vent platform, then jump onto the crate, and from it onto the vent platform.
