The Orange Box: Half-Life 2: Episode Two Hints
The Regular Way
1 of 10: All you can do to prepare is to drop down a few useful things, like the saw blade near the base of the nearby ladder, and any health and armor items you've brought with you from previous areas.
2 of 10: After you drop to the metal platform, quickly raid the supply crate, then drop to the floor.
3 of 10: Find the saw blade you dropped down plus the two that are hanging on the walls.
4 of 10: You're going to be using the saw blades and/or the shotgun to blast zombines, since they're faster and more dangerous than the regular zombies, which you can pretty much dodge until Alyx shoots them.
5 of 10: One good way to dodge, especially if a zombine pulls out a grenade, is to run into the side hallway that has two entrances. (Watch out for zombies being in there, too.)
6 of 10: If you're liberal with your shotgun ammo and don't lose your saw blades too soon, you should be able to handle the first bunch of zombies without taking much damage.
7 of 10: Eventually, several more will crash through a large metal door.
8 of 10: When they do, toss a saw blade at them if you have one, or an SMG grenade if you don't.
9 of 10: Then run into the side area to dodge them while Alyx goes to work on the survivors.
10 of 10: The last batch of zombies will break in through the back part of the building. There won't be all that many, and you can let Alyx take care of most of them.
