Antlion and Barnacle Combat Tips
1 of 7: Most of these antlions are regular antlions, meaning they can't spit poison at you, but can only attack you up close.
2 of 7: When you move far enough into the cave to get them to notice you, they'll have to charge at you through the barnacle area, and several of them should get caught.
3 of 7: As for those that get through, you can blast them back with the gravity gun or shoot them with the shotgun.
4 of 7: Or you can retreat back to the underwater passage as soon as the antlions start charging. That way, you can dive down and let them drown themselves while trying to get to you.
5 of 7: After the first wave that comes at you is all dead, move into the barnacle area cautiously to see if more antlions will charge you. If so, retreat and use the same tactics against them.
6 of 7: There's also at least one antlion worker back there. Dodge his spit until he gets caught by a barnacle.
7 of 7: After the antlions are all dead, you can just navigate through the barnacles instead of killing them, or you can let them catch you and pull you up to where you can whack them with the crowbar.
