2 of 6: Take the gnome along with you to the large overlook room that's past the half-open door.
3 of 6: Stand in the big fencing gap and look to the left, then use the gravity gun to fire the gnome over to the nearest bridge section.
4 of 6: If you aim it right, you'll see it bounce off the bridge section's far railing and down onto the bridge. You probably won't be able to see it then, but if you don't see it bounce away or fall, it'll be on the bridge.
5 of 6: After you drive the muscle car across the bridge and the vort opens the gate, put the gnome in the car between your seat and Alyx's.
6 of 6: Drive slowly into Chapter 4, Section 1, careful to not lose the gnome. Going fast may cause it to glitch through the car and end up on the road.
