The Orange Box: Half-Life 2: Episode Two Hints

Section 1: The Superportal's Destruction (ep2_outland_12a)

  • 1 of 7: Follow Alyx along until you reach the launch control room.
  • 2 of 7: When Dr. Kleiner opens up a large red button on a console for you, go up to it and press it.
  • 3 of 7: After the launch, follow Alyx and Dr. Vance outside to watch the blown-up citadel's superportal being neutralized.
  • 4 of 7: Next, they'll lead you into the hangar with the helicopter that Alyx has ready to go after Dr. Mossman.
  • 5 of 7: After you go down a lift to the hangar's main floor, a Combine advisor will break in through an upper window and grab you telekinetically.
  • 6 of 7: Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do as a second advisor comes in and kills Dr. Vance, and they both make their getaway.
  • 7 of 7: And there the episode ends. I guess we'll have to wait a year or two until Episode Three comes out to get revenge on those slimy flying worms.
