How can I lower the metal platform so I can run along the ledge?
1 of 4: Look on the raised metal platform to see what's on it.
2 of 4: That turned-over barrel might be an explosive one.
3 of 4: Hit it with two pistol shots (or the mounted machine gun) to find out that it is indeed explosive!
4 of 4: Its explosion will knock the metal platform down to where it bridges the gap in the ledge, allowing you to run straight down it.
