Sentry Gun Tips
1 of 9: The first thing to do is approach the gate along the left wall, keeping out of range of the sentry gun that's facing the gate.
2 of 9: Quicksave your game and lob a frag grenade through the gate and toward the sentry gun. (Or use an SMG grenade since it's easier to fire it right at the sentry gun.)
3 of 9: Or you could quickly run through the gate and across the room, taking cover behind the pillar next to the bent fencing and pulling the sentry gun over with the gravity gun. As soon as it's on the floor, run back through the gate.
4 of 9: After knocking that sentry over, go through the gate and toss some bugbait ahead so your antlions will kill the soldiers who come through the force field after you.
5 of 9: Then you've got the two sentry guns behind the force field to deal with. There's no chance at all that your antlions can knock the guns over since they can't get through the force field.
6 of 9: You could repeat your grenade-throwing routine on these sentries if you have plenty of frag grenades (or SMG grenades or pulse rifle energy orbs, which work a lot better).
7 of 9: Or you could try throwing heavy junk like barrels and radiator grilles at them with the gravity gun.
8 of 9: Or you could get a large table (from the corner of this room or from some of the rooms you've been through recently) and hold it in front of you with the gravity gun as you crouch-walk toward the sentries. When you reach the force field, throw the table ahead of you to hopefully knock them both over.
9 of 9: Unfortunately, all those ideas are error-prone (and damage-prone), so you may want to just skip these sentries for now and sneak up behind them after you get past the force field.
