Soldier Combat Tips

  • 1 of 9: The first soldier comes running down the stairs soon after you turn the corner at the end of the short hall past the "password" door.
  • 2 of 9: Retreat back down the hallway a bit when the "Run for your life!" guy gets killed and wait for the soldier to take cover in the nearby room.
  • 3 of 9: You can then duck in and out of cover, shooting him through the room's window while taking little damage.
  • 4 of 9: Or you can zoom around the corner so fast that you catch the soldier by surprise on the stairs. You can shoot him down easily with the shotgun or pulse rifle, and save the fleeing citizen's life, too!
  • 5 of 9: Check the room for supplies, then tell your squad to stay at the bottom of the stairs.
  • 6 of 9: Go up the stairs until you hear another resistance member yell, then run back to the bottom of the stairs and help your squad shoot up at the two soldiers.
  • 7 of 9: If you can't pull that off without losing any squad members, then charge up the stairs and use an SMG grenade to blow the soldiers away as soon as you see them. (Be sure to save first, since it's way too easy to mis-aim the grenade and blow yourself up.)
  • 8 of 9: Past the top of the stairs, shoot or grenade the soldier beneath the floor hole before you drop down through it.
  • 9 of 9: Sneak up behind the soldier in a nearby room who's shooting at someone through a large doorway and shotgun him in the head before he senses you and turns around.
