Half-Life 2 Hints
Headcrab and Zombie Tips
1 of 8: There are several headcrabs just past the open doorway near the top of the stairs.
2 of 8: Crouch just to the right of the doorway and swing your crowbar continuously at the floor right in front of the doorway so you can kill headcrabs as they come through.
3 of 8: When you go through that doorway, you could turn right to go to an optional area with a fast zombie and a single health pack, but it probably isn't worth it.
4 of 8: Just skip that and go straight for the floor hole that you can drop down through.
5 of 8: Have your SMG or shotgun ready as you move toward the next floor hole. You'll want to quickly head-shot the flaming fast zombie that jumps out of it.
6 of 8: Get the crowbar out and crouch-walk carefully up to the next drop-off so you can safely whack the zombie down there to death. (Or make sure he's right near the drop-off and drop a frag grenade down next to him.)
7 of 8: After the zombie's dead, send your squad down to the lower floor to finish off any surviving headcrabs before you drop down.
8 of 8: Keep sending your squad ahead of you all the way to the storage room with all the crates. There are a few fast headcrabs in there, too.
