How can I resolve the conflicting reports on the time of the murder?

  • 1 of 6: Start by going to the police station and seeing what Constable Humphries has to say about it.
  • 2 of 6: After asking him about everything, talk to the witness who's sitting nearby to get his story.
  • 3 of 6: Then go check the trash bin that's just to the left of the constable's desk.
  • 4 of 6: Click the hand cursor on the bin itself to find a police report.
  • 5 of 6: When you exit its view, Watson will notice the torn-up reports that the constable mentioned.
  • 6 of 6: That's all you can do for now. You'll resolve the conflicts after you return to Holmes' apartment later on.
