How do I lower those drawbridges?
1 of 3: The same way you did in the eastern section.
2 of 3: They were held up with ropes.
3 of 3: So cut them again -- a jump before you swing your sword should do the trick. Don't forget to pick up your sword again if you dropped it to get a stick earlier. It's probably mixed in with a pile of sticks, either next to the couch down below in this room or next to the inner iris in the West Arena, depending on where you left it.
