How do we get to the bottom of the large hall after that?
  • 1 of 18: First, if you haven't noticed, there's a set of 4 idol doors at the bottom of the room.  That's where these hints are trying to take you.
  • 2 of 18: Also notice that there's a chasm running across the floor of this room. Getting both Ico and Yorda to one half of the room is much easier than the other.
  • 3 of 18: Walk all the way to the "far" side of the room (i.e., away from the crane, or just above the idol doors) and look around from there with the right analog stick.
  • 4 of 18: You can see another door leading into the "near" half of the bottom floor.
  • 5 of 18: Try going to that half of the room to see what you can find.
  • 6 of 18: You'll need to go back outside to reach that half of the room.
  • 7 of 18: Specifically, head back towards the crane and take the spiral staircase that goes down and around the platform outside -- look a bit to the right of the couch.
  • 8 of 18: It looks like that walkway's being held up by little more than a single pole.
  • 9 of 18: Maybe you could knock that pole down.
  • 10 of 18: There were three bombs sitting right there waiting for you just outside the main hall, at the bottom of the staircase.
  • 11 of 18: Pick one up and head into the main hall again. 
  • 12 of 18: You want to put the bomb just next the pole.  Use CIRCLE to pick up and drop a bomb.  Remember that when you press CIRCLE while you're holding a bomb, if you're moving, you'll throw it, but if you're standing still, you'll drop it.
  • 13 of 18: Hmm .. . if only there were some way of lighting those bombs.
  • 14 of 18: Now, you need to use the fallen chandelier to light a bomb.
  • 15 of 18: You can't use the bomb on the chandelier directly.
  • 16 of 18: So first light a stick (some are on the wall nearby if you don't have one for some reason) by pressing CIRCLE as you're near a candle on the chandelier. Then, walk up to the bomb with your lit torch.  If the end of the torch is close enough to the bomb, it will light.  You don't need to press CIRCLE again to light the bomb.
  • 17 of 18: If the bomb is close enough to the walkway's support column, the column will shatter and the walkway will fall.  Otherwise, go get another bomb, drop it closer to the beam and try again.  There are plenty of bombs, and you can light your torch as needed.
  • 18 of 18: The walkway slants down, so you'll need to go back outside and up the spiral stairs to catch the top, but from there, just walk down and to the idol doors.
