How do I open the iced-over door that's just SW of the stairs?

  • 1 of 8: You can never open that door from the outside.
  • 2 of 8: And there are no other doors into the room.
  • 3 of 8: You'll need to use a teleportation gimmick.
  • 4 of 8: The magic painting and stairs on level 1 are the only things that can get you in there.
  • 5 of 8: The room you're trying to get into is the private treasure vault.
  • 6 of 8: To get the phrase needed for it, you have to find and talk to High Priestess Oria.
  • 7 of 8: Among the treasure in the room is Nathaniel's Ring of the Ram, which you can return to him for some bonus XP. (It's in a locked chest that can be opened by High Priestess Cathin's key.)
  • 8 of 8: To leave the room, open the icy door from the inside.
