Icewind Dale II Hints

Find the exit to the Black Raven Monastery.

After you make it to the Cold Marshes, you need to figure out how to get past its boulder blockade and move on to the river cave area.
- How can I get past the 4X4 array of large boulders?
2 of 6:
Once there, find the entrance to the Hook Horror Lair and enter it.
- Where do I go in the big cave?
3 of 6:
Find the exit in the NE corner of the Hook Horror Lair and unblock it.
- Where can I get mining tools to clear the cave-in in the NE corner cave?
4 of 6:
That exit takes you to the last little cave area of the chapter. Unfortunately, the exit from it is guarded by a powerful Hosttower mage and his cronies.
- How can I defeat Beastlord Harshom in the final cave area?
5 of 6: After you kill them off, search Harshom's treasure for a key that will open the nearby locked gate.
6 of 6: Past the gate is the exit that will lead to the Black Raven Monastery area and begin Chapter 4.
