Icewind Dale II Hints
Drive the goblins out of the warehouse.
1 of 12: Talk to Brogan near the infested warehouse (NE corner of Docks area) to get this quest.
2 of 12: It seems that some lazy drunkards in the Salty Dog Tavern are supposed to respond to this emergency.
3 of 12: If you go talk to them, they'll refuse to help.
4 of 12: But that's okay; you'll want to break into the warehouse and do the job yourself, anyway.
5 of 12: NOTE: If your spokesperson's Intimidation skill is high enough, you can skip going to the Salty Dog by convincing Brogan to let you do the job right off.
6 of 12: Force the warehouse's door open by attacking it with a strong fighter or by having a rogue pick the lock.
7 of 12: Once inside, kill the goblins and explore the place for loot.
8 of 12: There's a trapdoor on the raised floor in the NW part of the warehouse. Open it and go down.
9 of 12: In the small cave system, fight your way to the western end.
10 of 12: After you kill all the goblins, go around and pick up all the loot, which should include a charred vellum scroll from the goblin leader at the west end.
11 of 12: Return to Brogan to report success and get some XP.
12 of 12: As for the charred vellum scroll, it's the starting point for an optional quest.
