Icewind Dale II Hints
Paladin Quest: The Medallion of the Lost Followers.
1 of 7: NOTE: Even if you don't have a paladin in your party, you can do this quest and get the artifact sword Holy Avenger. However, no one will be able to use it, so you'll have to sell it.
2 of 7: Be sure to take the Medallion of the Lost Followers from one of the heaps of treasure in the SE corner room on level 3 of the Dragon's Eye.
3 of 7: Have your paladin wear the medallion, then return to Kuldahar and enter Hrothgar's Glen.
4 of 7: The medallion said that Holy Avenger was wielded by Duke Kholsa Ehld, so look around for a grave with any of those names on it.
5 of 7: When your paladin, wearing the medallion, clicks on "Old Kholsa's" grave (a ways NE of the exit to the glen), the sword Holy Avenger will appear on the ground near the grave, and "Lost Followers" will teleport in.
6 of 7: The medallion's text has clues as to what weaknesses each of the Lost Followers has.
7 of 7: If you manage to take them all down, you'll get to keep Holy Avenger, which is a mighty +5 sword for paladins. Also, your paladin will receive a +1 to Strength and Wisdom and a +5 to max HP.
