Icewind Dale II Hints

Purify the magical radiant pool.

  • 1 of 5: This pool has to be sanctified before you take on Isair and Madae because they can draw power from it if it's left as it is.
  • 2 of 5: The pool is in the heavily guarded eastern room on level 3 of the main fortress.
  • 3 of 5: To officially learn of the pool and its use, talk to Orrick on the top floor of the Wizard Tower.
  • 4 of 5: He'll refer you to a priest for a method on wrecking the pool.
  • 5 of 5: The priest you want is Toral Sorn, who's being held prisoner on level 1 of the War Tower. Free him and he'll give you directions on doing a ritual that'll help with the radiant pool and other problems.
