Jade Empire Hints
The Play's the Thing
of 9: After you finish the "Silk Fox" main quest, you can find a guy named Incisive Chorus standing in the Golden Way, near the exit to the Market District.
of 9: Talk to him and agree to help fix his sabotaged play in order to get this quest.
of 9: Go over to the Theatre Pavilion area and talk to Phong to get a copy of the edited script.
of 9: Now that you have both the original and the edited scripts, use the script stand that's to the right of the pavilion's stairs.
of 9: With it, you can go over both scripts, and note down what you want to say for each line.
of 9: Note that Closed Fist players will want to get Incisive Chorus in trouble by using the edited script's lines when there's a diffference, and Open Palm players will want to use the original script for all lines. (Or actually, Closed Fist players may want to go the Open Palm way on this one, since there's no actual alignment shift, and the rewards are better.)
of 9: When you're ready, talk to Phong and tell him to get the show started.
of 9: When it comes time for you to deliver your lines, stick with whichever script you decided to go with.
of 9: Either way, you'll get 1000 silver from Phong after the play is over, and can talk to Incisive Chorus to finish the quest (and get lots of silver and XP if you stuck to his original script).
