Restore the Missing Crystal

  • 1 of 8: You get this task when you finish the "Find Spear Catches Leaf" one.
  • 2 of 8: Before you head off for the Pilgrim's Rest Inn, there are several things you might want to do.
  • 3 of 8: To get to the inn, you can either return to the path-split clearing and take the NE path this time, or you can find the path that leads off north from the temple area. (Watch for lootable bones to your left if you go the second way.)
  • 4 of 8: Either way, you'll have to fight a whole lot of spirits in the area next to the inn. Thankfully, they only appear a few at a time, which keeps them from getting too overwhelming.
  • 5 of 8: After you go through the exit that leads to the inn area, move forward to get three lost spirits to appear and attack.
  • 6 of 8: Look around for a rock and a bamboo cask that you can raid, then start up the ramp that leads into the inn to get an odd cut-scene.
  • 7 of 8: Go on into the inn and talk to the innkeeper to get the Temple Crystal that you're after plus the "Fox Hunt" subquest.
  • 8 of 8: Return to the temple and talk to Spear Catches Leaf to learn about how the ritual is performed. After that, you can choose to trade out your current follower for Black Whirlwind.
