1 of 4: You get this quest while working on the "Restore the Missing Crystal" task in the "The Sickened Forest" main quest.
2 of 4: The innkeeper in the Pilgrim's Rest Inn is the one who gives you the quest.
3 of 4: You can find out more about the innkeeper and his desire to have the Forest Shadow killed by doing "Cannibals in the Inn."
4 of 4: If you kill the Forest Shadow later on, you'll be taken straight back to the inn for your reward.
