How do I complete the Oracle floating island puzzle?
1 of 13: The puzzle will need to be unlocked before you can begin.
2 of 13: Go into a close up of the first large stone you see after leaving the shelter of the academy. On the left of the large stone you should see the familiar blue sphere with golden rings. Touch it. If Lydia knows how to unlock the puzzle she will do so automatically.
3 of 13: To learn the object of this puzzle, you may need to do some looking around. Be sure to note what is etched into the large stone, then follow the path to see what else you might find.
4 of 13: If you follow the path all the way back to the beginning, you will have passed three large stones (each with a etching of a dragon). If you tried clicking on the dragon etched into the stone, you would find that the dragon could glow.
5 of 13: Did you notice that the first stone (the one closest to the academy) had more than a dragon etched on it? It also had some lines.
6 of 13: Some of the lines are glowing and some are not.
7 of 13: The glowing lines are not a random decoration -- they are telling you something about the three stones that you saw when you followed the paths.
8 of 13: There is an additional magical path that can take you to a new floating island if...
9 of 13: ...you correctly "set" the three dragons located on the three stones.
10 of 13: Use the lines as a guide -- notice that the first line is dark, or "off"; the next two are glowing or "on".
11 of 13: You will need to set the three dragons (on the three stones) so that they match the settings shown on this rock. Be sure this first stone is not glowing -- then it will match the first line of the three. The next two stones will need to be glowing or "on" in order to match the next two lines on the stone. Note: when you set the third stone, you should automatically see a different path appear, but it doesn't always appear immediately. You may need to walk all the way around from the beginning again to see if it will appear the next time around.
12 of 13: When you get to a new stone, you should see a new set of lines etched into it. You will need to match the "setting" of the next three stones to the three lines on this stone. Note that you will return to stones you have already seen. This is normal. Just be sure that you set the stones correctly, based on what you saw on the first one. Continue in this manner until you reach the dragon remains.
13 of 13: Once you have navigated through the floating islands maze, you should end up at the dragon remains. Click on the image of a dragon on the wall to receive a special item. To re-enter the academy follow the path back to the previous island, wait for the new magical path to appear, then use the new path to return to the beginning.
