How do I solve the puzzle in the Art Classroom?

  • 1 of 8: You will need to find an additional painting before you can begin.
  • 2 of 8: You will also need to create another painting yourself.
  • 3 of 8: To work on this puzzle, you will need to go into a close-up of the two frames in the middle of the room.  It is possible to select paintings from the ones displayed on the wall and place them inside these two frames.  You can change view to and from the paintings on the back wall by clicking on the image in the top left of the screen (when already in the close-up).
  • 4 of 8: Many times, placing two paintings in the frames will do nothing -- but for some paintings, something magical will occur.
  • 5 of 8: Certain paintings, when displayed together will magically change into new paintings.  The game does not provide clues as to which painting combinations will work -- it is more a tedious task of trial and error.
  • 6 of 8: To select the first painting -- click on the top right corner to switch to view of wall of paintings.  Go into a close-up of the center frame of paintings.  From here select the blue picture with a dragon, located at the center of the group of paintings.  After clicking on the painting to pick it up, back away from the close-up until you can click in the top right corner to switch to the scene of the two empty frames.  Click on one frame to frame the dragon picture you just picked up.
  • 7 of 8: The second painting, which should be placed next to the dragon picture is the one of the red fire rune.  It is located in the second (of the five) frames (from the left).  It is located at the bottom left of its group of paintings.  Click on it and frame it in the empty frame beside the dragon picture.
  • 8 of 8: When the correct two paintings are placed together, the paintings will rotate, revealing two new paintings.  Of the two new paintings, one should be left in its frame, the other needs to be replaced with a new painting.  When you have found the correct combination of two paintings, they too will rotate and create two new paintings.  The final two paintings will bring forth a strange object
