Keepsake Hints
How do I create the correct painting?
1 of 11: There is an easel near the entrance to the art room. To the right of the easel are four small pots of colored paint. Clicking on a pot of paint will apply that color to the painting.
2 of 11: This is not a place to create a random piece of modern art -- there is a magical quality involved. There are clues provided within the game that will help you determine what to do.
3 of 11: Some important information can be obtained from the tapestry with the different colored circles (third from the top). The tapestry of colors is located in the library. Note: The final hint under the "What do I need to do in the library?" hints will help you find the tapestry with the colors. Once you have looked at the tapestry with the colors, an image of the tapestry will be stored in your documents inventory.
4 of 11: Now you will need to know what information to gather from the tapestry. You are looking for a combination of four different colors -- each color used once.
5 of 11: There are a few different runes on the various colored circles shown on the tapestry. The runes are important.
6 of 11: There is one specific rune associated with this classroom.
7 of 11: Remember the rune on the wall? It looks kind of like a swirling collection of thin ribbons.
8 of 11: Look for the same rune on the tapestry.
9 of 11: The top row of the tapestry has the same rune at the second (from the left) position. It is on a red circle.
10 of 11: The second row shows that rune at the far right, on a yellow circle.
11 of 11: Working from top to bottom, make note of which colors the art room rune is positioned on. These will be the colors you will be using to create the painting. Note: you won't be able to create the correct painting unless these four colors are painted on a blank surface. If you have already painted other colors on the surface, you will need to click on the colored surface to restart. When the correct combination of four colors is painted on, the painting will automatically be added to one of the empty frames along the back wall.
