How do I activate the mechanism linked to the waterwheel (the weights puzzle)?
1 of 7: Notice the row of levers and wheels across the top of the mechanism? The first thing you should do is try them all and figure out what each one does.
2 of 7: Did you notice the small blue lights next to each of the weights? When a weight stops at the level with the lights, the lights will start to glow.
3 of 7: To solve this puzzle, you will need to figure out how to get both weights in the correct position so that all the lights are on.
4 of 7: Notice that the lights for the left weight will be on when the left weight is at the very top.
5 of 7: Therefore, it is extremely easy to put the left weight into the correct position. The weight you will need to focus your attention on is the one on the right.
6 of 7: Using the inner levers correctly is the key to solving this puzzle.
7 of 7: Remember that if one of the weights is partway up and cannot be moved 3 spaces at once, the weights will move less than 3 spaces. You'll need to use this quality to shift the position of the weight on the right so that it can be moved into the correct position (4 spaces from the bottom).
