The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine Hints

Nature's Fury

  • 1 of 12: Talk to Sir Juncan's spirit in the Priory Undercroft about the Boots of the Crusader while on the "Priory of the Nine" quest.
  • 2 of 12: Make this your active quest to get a quest arrow to appear on the world map a short way SW of the Wawnet Inn (which is directly west of the Imperial City).
  • 3 of 12: When you arrive at your destination, you'll find an area that looks a lot like the Daedric shrine areas, complete with giant statue, benches, and several followers.
  • 4 of 12: Talk to Avita Vesnia about the boots you're after.
  • 5 of 12: You'll be assigned a test on fearing and respecting nature.
  • 6 of 12: Check your map to find a quest marker a short distance to the west.
  • 7 of 12: When you reach the marker, stand and wait until you get a journal entry.
  • 8 of 12: Then wait some more for a large and angry bear to show up.
  • 9 of 12: Remember that you're supposed to respect nature.
  • 10 of 12: In this case, that means stand and let the bear beat up on you without fighting back until you get another journal entry.
  • 11 of 12: Heal up if necessary, then go through the nearby stone door to Kynareth's Grotto.
  • 12 of 12: Inside, ignore the non-hostile spriggans and grab the Boots of the Crusader from the stone slab that's between them.
