Lego Indiana Jones Hints
So how do I get studs?
1 of 6: You'll find some studs lying around loose; just run into them to pick them up.
2 of 6: You'll find lots more by smashing things. Almost everything that breaks will spill studs when it does, and sometimes hearts too. The general rule is to smash everything you can for the studs; no one will ever object, and it's even kind of fun. Try punching the little tables in the hall in Barnett College, for example.
3 of 6: Sometimes the rubble falls into piles of bouncing bricks when they break; this means they can be rebuilt into other things, and you may get studs when you do that and then smash the new items too. You'll soon get to know the look of things that can be smashed -- boxes, vases, books, furniture, plants, crates, priceless artwork, and so on. Just let your destructive side go and smash everything!
4 of 6: Dying makes you lose studs, so, you know, avoid it if you can. You'll lose 1,000 studs every time you die, which is why it's so hard to reach True Adventurer status on levels like Motorcycle Escape in The Last Crusade.
5 of 6: The level with the highest True Adventurer level is Escape the Mines in The Temple of Doom at 120,000 studs. But even there it's possible, if you can manage to pick up all the purple studs that lurk in the tunnels.
6 of 6: If you can't make headway on a specific level, just get through it any way you can and come back when you have some of the more useful extras -- Treasure x2 or Invincibility, for example.
