How do I get off this island in the lava?
1 of 13: Your exit from this area is via the statue at the right of the area where you start.
2 of 13: Once you take out the nearby baddies, you'll see that it has a two-part build pad, so you need two boxes of parts.
3 of 13: The first box is down very close to the lava. From where you start, drop down and then go down a long ladder, and there's the box. But how to get it back up to where the ladder is?
4 of 13: Start by going right, where you can see a red and green statue in a niche with a checkered path.
5 of 13: Rebuild a ladder into this niche, then climb up and push the statue along the path. Assemble the statue pieces into the wings of a spinner --
6 of 13: -- which you can then pick up and put on the spinner assembly at the left of this lower area. Turning the spinner raises a platform nearby, but it doesn't stay up. This is a case for cooperation.
7 of 13: Pick up the box of parts and stand on the platform that lifts, then toggle to your partner and go turn the spinner. When it reaches the top, toggle back and jump off with the parts. You need to be pretty quick about it or the platform will drop.
8 of 13: The second box is at the left on the other side of the incomplete bridge. Send Indy over using the whip platform --
9 of 13: -- where some baddies are waiting for you. After you clear the area, notice the doggie door; this means you need to find a way to allow Short Round to join you.
10 of 13: If you look at the bridge, you'll notice two posts with empty sconces. So grab a torch --
11 of 13: -- and walk around until you target one of the sconces, then throw it into the sconce. When both are lit, the bridge rises.
12 of 13: Now send Short Round into the doggy door, then pull the lever. Go into the doggy door again and walk over to pick up the box of parts.
13 of 13: When both boxes of parts are on the build pad by the statue, build them into handrails. Jump up on top of the statue, then right onto a series of high columns. Continue right, using a convenient rope when necessary, till you reach the huge rotating columns.
