LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
How do I survive the fight on the third screen?
1 of 7: Notice the icons of various enemies on the top of your screen, just underneath your stud total. Those indicate targets that you're supposed to destroy.
2 of 7: In the first wave of attacks, you'll see 11 pictures of the black droids. Just fly around the screen and keep shooting droids until all 11 are destroyed, and you'll move onto the next wave. This entire area is just a large circle, so keep moving around in one direction if you can't find all of your targets. You should run into them eventually. (Only the droids "count" towards finishing this wave, even if you see other things you can shoot at now.)
3 of 7: Once that's done, you'll see a cut-scene of more attackers -- this time, 11 AT-ST's. Again, destroy all 11, and you can continue.
5 of 7: The AT-AT's move fairly slowly, and you may want to take them out as fast as you can. (Remember that only the vehicles shown on the top of your screen "count," but you can always hit things that are in your way.) There's a rollermine dispenser at the bottom of the screen and slightly to the right of where the AT-AT's enter, and another one not too far to the left from that entrance. Remember to watch out for the black droids that try to "steal" your mines.
6 of 7: The fourth and final wave is just a combination of the last three -- 1 AT-AT, 4 black droids, and 6 AT-STs. In some ways, this may be the easiest round, since there aren't any "extra" vehicles of different types to get in your way. That is, once you destroy all 4 droids, there won't be any more to grab onto your mines. So it may be better to start with the smaller vehicles first and do the AT-AT last. But that's completely up to you.
7 of 7: Once the last of those vehicles are gone, you'll be done with the chapter.
