LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
Can you give me some tips for the Minikit Bonus (Death Star)?
1 of 6: First, if you haven't ever played a Minikit Bonus level, see the general hints below.
2 of 6: This level is kind of shaped like a J -- you can head up or down from where you first start, as well as a into little tail down and to the left. There are several torpedo dispensers and purple towers that you can hit with torpedoes along the long side of the J.
3 of 6: There's one *very* good target down on the short (lower left) side of the J.
4 of 6: There's a single tower here surrounded by four torpedo targets on the ground. You'll also have to make at least one round trip from the nearest dispenser to get enough torpedoes for all four targets, but it's definitely worth the studs you get as a result. The only downside is that the tower doesn't regenerate at all, so this is a one-time thing.
5 of 6: Once you're done with that, it's pretty easy to get in a good rhythm. Head to the nearest normal tower to your right -- you'll probably fly back over a dispenser along the way -- and launch a torpedo at that to get the studs it releases.
6 of 6: This tower regenerates very quickly, so you can generally just fly straight back to the dispenser and repeat. By the time you get back to tower, it should be back and ready to hit again with another torpedo. You may want to keep your blasters firing at the ground just in case anything destructible releases studs, but I didn't think it was worth the time to go out of the way for anything on the ground.
