LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints

Once Leia is free, how do we get off this barge?

  • 1 of 8: As soon as you've gotten past the disco room, you should be able to walk up to the top deck of the barge, where you'll find Leia.
  • 2 of 8: The key to getting off is those two giant rotating targets in the center of the top deck.
  • 3 of 8: You'll have to do two things -- remove the forcefields surrounding the targets, and then get somewhere where you can shoot the targets.
  • 4 of 8: As to how you shoot the targets, you want to look on the right side of this screen.  There's an upper level here, and you'll need to get up there somehow.
  • 5 of 8: Once you've gone up one level, you should be able to see a gun that's to the right and even higher up than where you are now.
  • 6 of 8: When you get up to the gun, you should see that there's a control panel that R2-D2 can use.
  • 7 of 8: This is what reloads the gun.  After R2-D2 has loaded it, you get eight shots.  Jump on the gun with any of your non-droid characters -- you don't have to wait until you've destroyed the guards.  Then, aim at the targets as they're spinning, and try to time it so that you hit the bullseye part of the target.  (II think you just have to hit the targets twice each, no matter what side is facing you at the time, but it can't hurt to try for the bullseye sides.)
  • 8 of 8: Repeat as often as you need to.  You can take as many shots, and have R2-D2 reload as many times, as you need to.  Once both targets are destroyed, you'll be done with this chapter.
