LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
If this chapter is called "Speeder Showdown," where are the speeders?
1 of 10: When you first start this level, Luke and Leia will be on foot. Throughout the level, you will also alternate between speeders and foot travel several times. The next few hints will tell you how to get onto the speeders for the first time.
2 of 10: You'll first need to get over the big log that's at the back of the starting screen.
3 of 10: Shoot out some of the plants in front of the log, and you'll see some bricks that you can build into a crate.
4 of 10: Luke can use the Force on the crate to raise it up.
5 of 10: Switch to Leia and then walk onto the crate. She'll then be lifted high enough to jump over the log, and you should be able to see a grappling hook just past that. But there's no circle to launch from at first.
6 of 10: Shoot the plant that's on the right, and you'll find the pieces for a white grappling pad. Build those, and Leia can hop up to a cliff above the log.
7 of 10: Have Leia walk towards the front of the screen, and she'll step on a platform that's hooked up to a pulley. The platform will lower, and Luke can then jump up over the log and join Leia on the other side.
8 of 10: You'll then see another pallet that can be Forced. Have Luke use it to build a ramp over the second log.
9 of 10: When you reach the next screen, you'll be on a bit of a cliff overlooking a larger flat area. Jump down to that flat area, and two Stormtroopers will arrive with speeders.
10 of 10: You can fight them if you want to, or you could just hop on the speeder -- the character that you're not controlling has probably already done so.
