LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
I'm now inside the Death Star. Where am I headed?
of 9: The level itself is fairly linear. That is, it should be pretty obvious that in most places, you can only go one way. Most of the corridors are straight, and in the few places there are turns, you can only turn one way.
of 9: You will see some vertical pipes -- which kind of look like ladders -- in the middle of the corridors, but all of these can be shot at and destroyed. It may help you if you go kind of slow, so that you don't accidentally take damage by running into any of these.
of 9: Go down a bit, and you should shortly reach an area with three purple targets. Those are completely optional, but if you go ahead just a bit more, you'll run into a forcefield, which has four targets around it.
of 9: You can pick up some torpedoes in the area just before the first set of three targets. As always, launch your torpedoes on all 4 targets, and the forcefield will come down.
of 9: Switch over to the next screen and fly down another corridor until you reach a closed door. You may not see anything obvious to do right away, but fly around and something should appear.
of 9: Specifically, there are two cannons behind their own little doors, one on either side of the main door.
of 9: Those smaller doors will open and close occasionally. Launch your torpedoes whenever the targets behind the doors are exposed, and the main door will open as soon as you've destroyed both of the targets.
of 9: If you need extra torpedoes, just fly to the other end of the straight corridor that you just came from. There's a source of torpedoes for you there.
of 9: Once that big door is open, you can fly into the central core of the Death Star.
