The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure Hints
How can I pass by the black mist in the Ager Crypt?
of 13: This black mist is the physical manifestation of the spirit of Nathaniel Ager, the musician of the family.
of 13: We got rid of the previous layers of black mist by appeasing the various members of the Ager family -- by containing their spirits.
of 13: Since Nathaniel was a musician, the solution is something musical.
of 13: You need to head all the way out of the crypts back to the church above in order to solve this puzzle.
of 13: Remember when we fixed the steam machine? It fixed the door to the crypt, but it also did something else. Do you remember what Mr. Russet said the machine was?
of 13: It powered the church organ. That is the only musical instrument here, and it's the key to dispelling the mist in the crypt.
of 13: Sure enough, if you head back inside the church you will find that the organ pipes now have steam flowing through them and the device is ready. Or, it will be, as soon as the steam has been turned on.
of 13: The key to which notes to play can be found in his journal.
of 13: Look closely at the page with the coiled snake.
of 13: You will see several musical notes written around his body, along with some ink stains covering other notes.
of 13: You are going to need to play the correct notes into the organ, but before you can do so, you will need to find out what those missing notes are.
