What all optional things can I do before starting this mission?
1 of 4: Visit the main battery section on deck 3 (at the end of the row of escape pods) and talk to Garrus. You'll unlock the Armor-Piercing Ammo bonus power if you use up all the dialogue topics.
2 of 4: On deck 2, talk to Joker and EDI in the bridge area, then talk to Specialist Traynor next to the galaxy map to get the "Grissom Academy: Investigation" side mission.
3 of 4: There's a bunch of new optional things at the Citadel, and a few new systems to scan for assets.
