What can I do on the Normandy now?
1 of 4: Talk to Specialist Traynor in the galaxy map area to get the "Arrae: Ex-Cerberus Scientists" side mission, then read all the new messages on your private terminal to get the "Citadel: Volus Ambassador" hub mission.
2 of 4: Since the hub mission takes place on the Citadel, you might as well go do it now. After you return to the Normandy, talk to Joker and EDI on the bridge to get some rep points and unlock the Defense Matrix power.
3 of 4: Next, go to the captain's cabin and use the intercom in the side room to invite Specialist Traynor, Diana Allers, and then James to your cabin. (If you got emails from them about meeting you in your cabin. If not, look for them later.)
4 of 4: On deck 3, talk to Garrus near the elevator to get some rep points, then talk to your ship's doctor in the medical lab to get the "Citadel: Medical Supplies" hub mission. It's another one that takes place on the Citadel, so go do it.
