Mission Critical Hints

How do I fix the reactor coolant system?

  • 1 of 7: Well, first you need to get down to Engineering.
  • 2 of 7: Once you're there, the computer should give you most of the information that you need to fix the reactor.  In fact, it will more or less walk you through the process.
  • 3 of 7: Go to the computer and look over the diagram to figure out which tank to open.
  • 4 of 7: Either tank 2 or tank 3 should work.
  • 5 of 7: Now go back to the computer and route the coolant fluid through the automatic valves.
  • 6 of 7: All you need to do is get the fluid through a path described by the computer (tank to reactor to heat exchanger and back).  You can ignore all of the other systems you might see in the diagram.  Just make sure the path you select correspond to the tank you opened (e.g., use the left-hand path if you opened tank 2).
  • 7 of 7: Routing the coolant fluid isn't really all that difficult, so I'll leave it to you to select the proper path.  Don't forget to open the valves just after the coolant tank and before the heat exchanger.
