Mysterious Journey II Hints

How do I open the doors with the 12-button panels?

  • 1 of 12: Find a symbol at the top of each door.
  • 2 of 12: Have you seen them anywhere before?  You should find two of the symbols somewhere in the space station.
  • 3 of 12: Look through the walkways for a crate with markings on it.
  • 4 of 12: The crate is located at the junction of two of the walkways.
  • 5 of 12: Check the symbols on the crate.  When you locate a symbol on the crate that matches one from on a door, make note of the pattern of four symbols on the right.
  • 6 of 12: Look at the four symbols on the right side -- where have you seen them before?
  • 7 of 12: They are the same base-12 numbers you used before.
  • 8 of 12: These two sets of numbers will help you determine the combinations to two of the doors.
  • 9 of 12: You'll need to decode the base-12 numbers -- to convert them to symbols that could be entered in the doors.
  • 10 of 12: To do this, you'll need to use the "decoder" in the hallway (that's the large circle on the wall, with the ring of symbols around the edge).
  • 11 of 12: Go to the appropriate door panel (the one with the symbol that matches the four-digit number you just decoded).
  • 12 of 12: Click on the four symbols that were derived from the decoder.  The order is important -- make sure you enter the symbols from the outer ring of the decoder first, and work towards the inner circle.
