Mysterious Journey II Hints

What do I do if the stalk is four bumps tall?

  • 1 of 6: You'll need to get past the sixth bump, without letting the stalk grow as tall as ten bumps high.
  • 2 of 6: You are pretty close to the six-bump hurdle -- it won't take much to get past it.  But it would be fairly easy to grow a stalk to the maximum of ten (which wouldn't have leaves at the top).  Carefully select the color that will allow the stalk to grow the correct amount.
  • 3 of 6: Blue will grow the stalk to the maximum height.
  • 4 of 6: Green will grow the stalk six bumps tall, which makes the stalk unsolvable.  Use the yellow button instead.  The amount of growth the yellow button produced varies, but should yield a stalk that is solvable.
  • 5 of 6: The stalk should be between seven and nine bumps tall.  It is now from one to three bumps from the maximum height, which makes it possible to grow the stalk with leaves at the top.
  • 6 of 6: Count up the total number of bumps on the stalk and deduct that from the desired height of ten.  The result will tell you which colored button to press to grow leaves at the very top.  For example, if the stalk were nine bumps tall, the answer would be one.  In this example, you would choose the green button, since the leaves always grow on the first bump when using the green button.
