Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor Hints
Stealing
1 of 5: Unless you have a Thief, you probably shouldn't bother with this skill. If you get caught stealing, you will be banned from stores or have the peasants turn hostile, and may also be subject to fines in the town hall. Only Thieves with a Grand Master skill have any realistic chance of getting valuable items, and there are better ways to make money than to steal stuff to get it. If you like the idea of playing a Thief on general role-playing grounds, this skill might be fun, but it's in no way important to gameplay.
2 of 5: Learn: taverns
3 of 5: Expert (requires 500 GP, level 4): Peryn Lightfingers (Skinner's House) in Harmondale or Elmo the Pincher in Mount Nighon (main town) or William Lasker in the Erathian Sewers
4 of 5: Master (requires 2,500 GP, level 7): Leane Shadowrunner in Deyja
5 of 5: Grandmaster (requires 6,000 GP, level 10): Everil Nightwalker in Tatalia (south of Tidewater)
