Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor Hints
How do I get to the Land of the Giants?
of 8: You may have heard something about a shrine that works as a teleporter from Harmondale to the Land of the Giants or vice-versa.
of 8: Well, that teleporter only works once it's been activated from the other side. You first need to use the shrine in the Land of the Giants at (4221, 17840). Once you've used that, you'll be taken to the shrine at (7607, -5235) in Harmondale, and only then can you use the shrine to get back. Until then, you're going to have to get there by walking.
of 8: Explore the tunnels in Thunderfist Mountain, and you should find an exit that doesn't go back to the Nighon Tunnels or Mount Nighon. Thunderfist Mountain is on the way to Mount Nighon.
of 8: Look on the far north side of the Thunderfist Mountain area. If you're coming from Stone City, you can get there by crossing a bridge in the center of the mountain and then heading north down the first full-fledged passage. Then, take the first west and you should be fairly close to the exit, which is at (2667, 7494).
of 8: This exit will take you to the Tunnels to Eeofol. While there are a lot of monsters in here -- and you may want to leave to cast Invisibility and come back here -- the tunnels aren't too terribly difficult to map. There are few significant branches, just lots of twists and turns that you have to follow, and no real secret doors.
of 8: Keep exploring until you reach a section filled with water. You will need to enter the water, and then jump out of the water when it dead-ends in a circular area. You will have to use your Jump spell, thus destroying your Invisibility. You may also need to try Jumping from a few places on the water's edge, since the ground above you appears to be at almost exactly the maximum height for a jump.
of 8: Once you're out of the water, turn south as far as you can go, then head east then north. You can probably outrun most of the monsters, and kill those that get in your way. Eventually, you should find the exit to take you to the Land of the Giants proper.
of 8: Remember to activate the teleporter on the other side, so you don't have to walk back the next time. Also, realize that there are a lot of powerful monsters (titans and dragons and devils) around here, so it may just be easiest to cast Invisibility and come back and fight them later. Of course, feel free to fight them now if that's your style.
