Find Gungnir.
  • 1 of 7: Talk to Hanndl (the gate guy) after you get into Arslegard City and mention that he doesn't seem to like you very much to get this quest. (If you have a priest in your party, this somehow keeps you from getting this conversation option, and you can't ever do the quest.)
  • 2 of 7: He said to ask Fre about where Gungnir might be, so go do so.
  • 3 of 7: She's in the Hall of the Gods in the SE corner of the city.
  • 4 of 7: Unfortunately, all she gives you is a vague clue as to where it is.
  • 5 of 7: I'll give you a better one.
  • 6 of 7: It's in the Inventa Storca dungeon that's in the Thronheim region. Go there to find the spear.
  • 7 of 7: Note that it's possible to get a Gungnir from a black chest that gives random artifacts. If you have, just give that to Hanndl to finish the quest (and then get the one from Inventa Storca for yourself if you want to). Also note that if someone has Gungnir equipped in a weapon slot, Hanndl won't take it.
